Beginner / Entry Level DSLR Photometry

1st Session
· Date – 15th Nov (Tues)
· Time – 19:00 (dial in 10 min’s before the session starts)
· 1hr on what this is and what we as amateurs can use it for

2nd Session
· Date – 17th Nov (Thurs)
· Time – 19:00 (dial in 10 min’s before the session starts)
· 1hr (or a little more if required) on how we do this and the use of the software

The ASSA Section for Photometry and Spectroscopy is offering a free online training course directed at entry level beginners. People who are active outdoor observers, who wish to grow into a specific field that allows them to find a purpose to use the telescope and contribute to the various real science projects as amateurs. People who are familiar with the use of star maps, familiar with the use of telescope and camera equipment. Those people, who themselves, after the introduction, shall continue on their own, to become experts, from the starter package data that shall be provided.
