C/2013 V5 (Oukaimeden) is a retrograde Oort Cloud comet discovered on 12 November 2013 by Oukaimeden Observatory at an apparent magnitude of +19.4 using a 0.5-meter reflecting telescope. C/2013 V5 (Oukaimeden) crossed the celestial equator on 30th August making it a southern hemisphere apparition.
Perihelion date was on 28th September 2014 at a distance of 0.625 AU from the Sun. At the moment (6th October) the comet is at around magnitude +8 making it within reach of small to medium size telescopes.
