Sunday 21st December just after midnight, saw what initially looked like a bright star 30 degrees above the Southern Horison, It was as bright as Jupiter when it later came up. While I was watching it it dimmed slightly and moved towards the north east. It moved very slowly 10 degrees in the minute we watched it, gradually getting dimmer and dimmer until it was invisible.
