| Famous for:Summary: Halm was chief assistant at the Cape Observatory between 1907 and 1927. He was chief assistant to Hough (1907 – 1927) and Spencer Jones (1923 – 1927). Halm did a lot of work under Hough on the proper motions of stars. |
